Dr. Mark Stevenson
Dr. Mark Stevenson has been practicing in Portage for over 10 years. He associated with and then purchased the practice of Dr. James Tonn in 2009, building a new office in 2010. Dr. Stevenson is from Portage and graduated from Portage Northern in 1999. He then attended undergrad and dental school at the University of Michigan, graduating from the latter in 2007. Dr. Stevenson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society.
Dr. Stevenson strives to create a comfortable atmosphere for patients while also providing great care. He is a part of a wonderful team that welcomed Dr. Kelly Yeung to the practice in 2017.
Dr. Stevenson’s wife Bethany (Dalton) is also from Portage even though they met in college. They have 3 boys that happily take up all their extra free time. They love having the opportunity to raise their kids back in Portage around family and friends.
Dr. Kelly Yeung
Dr. Kelly Yeung, a native of the region, joined Stevenson Family Dentistry in 2017. She graduated with high honors from Plainwell High School (1998), Illinois Wesleyan University (2002) and the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry (2006). Dr. Yeung enjoys providing quality dentistry in a friendly environment.
Dr. Yeung’s priority is providing the best care possible for her patients! To do so she attends above and beyond the required minimum number of continuing education classes each year. Dr. Yeung is proud to be a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA. The Kois Center is an industry leader in evidence-based dentistry and education. Dr. Stevenson and Dr. Yeung have integrated quality evidence-based systems to treat every patient with the most up to date techniques. She also maintains an active membership in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society. She served the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society in various roles over the years as a board member and KVDDS President (’17-18).
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Yeung and her husband, Dr. Robert Yeung, have two sons who keep them busy throughout the year!
